Just 20 minutes outside Abilene, Buffalo Mountain Ranch gives groups more than 4,400 acres and a three-building Camp where they can stay, meet, share meals, and spend time together.
Close enough to make it easy
A real change of setting without a long trip.
The ranch feels removed from the usual meeting room or event venue, but it remains close enough for Abilene-area groups to arrive without turning the gathering into a major travel day.
With 50 beds, meeting and recreation spaces, a dedicated dining hall, and plenty of room outside, the experience can take shape around the needs of your group.
Private Events
Bring a private group to the ranch for a gathering that can move naturally between shared meals, indoor spaces, and the surrounding land.

Multi-day Group Stays
The Lodge, Barracks, and Mess Hall make it practical for larger groups to settle in rather than dividing their stay between separate hotels.
The three-building Camp
Sleep, meet, eat, and unwind in one place.
The outdoor basketball court can also be used for pickleball. A net is available; guests bring their own paddles and balls. Let us know if your group would like to use it during your stay.
The Lodge
Four bedrooms, bathrooms and showers, a full kitchen, fireside lounge, conference room, and recreation room with darts and table games.
The Barracks
Dedicated group sleeping quarters with beds, bathrooms, and showers.
The Mess Hall
A separate full-size kitchen and group dining space with tables and seating for shared meals, meetings, and celebrations.

Reserve the Camp exclusively
One group at a time can use the Lodge, Barracks, and Mess Hall as a private home base for the gathering.
Gather for a day or stay overnight
Book a day visit without lodging, or keep the group together overnight with 50 beds across the Lodge and Barracks.
Share meals together
Guests have full access to two kitchens. The Mess Hall currently seats approximately 48 people across eight full-size tables.
Meet and present
The Lodge conference room currently seats about 16 around tables and includes a projector and speakers for group use.
Plan the logistics
Wi-Fi is available. The Camp is wheelchair accessible with ADA restrooms and has parking for about 20 cars plus overflow.
Bring in the meal
Outside catering is welcome and arranged separately. We may be able to help with local vendor recommendations and coordination.
